Furbaby Board is a care hub for households with pets, on the web and on Android, operated by Harshdeep Singh Sandhu. This page says what we hold, why, and who else sees it.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email on your Google account. Passwords are held by our authentication provider as a hash; we never see them.
- Your household. Its name and timezone, who belongs to it, and the invite links you create.
- Your pets. Name, species, breed, sex, neuter status, date of birth, microchip number, colour, photo and notes.
- Their health records. Weights, vet visits (date, reason, clinic, vet, notes and follow-up), vaccines and preventives, medications and their doses, and conditions such as allergies. These are records about your pets, not about you.
- Documents you upload. Files such as vet bills, lab results and vaccination certificates, with the title and date you give them.
- Routines and what was done. Task titles, notes, schedules and times, and a record of each one done or skipped: who did it, when, and any reason given.
- Reminders. How early you want them, the reminders sent to you (your notification feed), and a notification token for each browser or phone you turn reminders on for.
We take no payments today, so we hold no payment details. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking on this service. We do not build profiles and we do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Why we hold it
To run the thing you signed up for: showing your household what each pet needs and what is due today, signing each completed task with a name so it is not done twice, keeping the health record and documents you can read back, and sending the reminders you asked for.
Who sees it
The members of your household see everything in it, including your name next to what you did. Nobody else can: access is limited to the household at the database level, and photos and documents are private files opened through short-lived links.
We use a small number of providers, each doing one job: Supabase (sign-in, database and file storage), Vercel (hosting the web app), Google (sign-in with Google, if you use it, and Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver reminders to Android phones), Expo (delivering reminders to iPhones) and your browser’s push service for web reminders. A reminder’s text passes through the delivery service on its way to your device. Some providers process data outside India.
If you connect an AI assistant such as ChatGPT (see Use with ChatGPT), it reads and writes your household’s pet data as you, when you ask it to. What it reads, and what you tell it, is then handled under that assistant’s own privacy policy. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings.
How long we keep it
Everything is kept for as long as your account and household exist, because reading the care history back is the point. Archiving a pet keeps its records; deleting a record deletes it.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself in Settings, on the web or in the Android app. See Delete your account for the steps. Deleting it removes your profile, your memberships, your notification tokens and your reminder feed straight away.
If you are the only member of your household, the household goes too: every pet, health record, routine, photo and document. If others remain, the household keeps its pets and records, and the tasks you ticked off and documents you uploaded stay in its history without your name. A household owner has to remove the other members first.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it if you can’t sign in. Write to contact@furbabyboard.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This service is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Security, honestly stated
Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped to your household at the database level, and the Android app keeps your sign-in encrypted on the device. No service can promise perfect security, and we do not.
